During his rookie season, Red Bull wanted to provide their newest up and coming signing, Kris Bryant, with a personalized logo mark to help build his brand. Myself being up a lifelong Cubs fan, this truly was a dream project for me to be involved in.

Red Bull wanted a mark that included both Kris’ initials, KB, as well as his uniform number, 17. After many different iterations and trying to come up with different ways of combining these characters, this particular mark rose to the top. I liked it for its boldness, clean lines and simplicity, and the fact the mark would respond well visually at different sizes as well as during embroidery.
